Projects that sound familiar to historians! Why did those 19th and 20th century financial education intitiatives disappear in today’s Europe? WSBI members are introducing youth savings accounts and school banking projects. In developing countries initiatives have been taken to boost financial inclusion among youth and young adults. Hosted by WSBI-ESBG Spanish member organisation CECA, the one-day workshop is designed to provide a forum for extensive discussion on new and innovative research on a very important and actual issue for the savings and retail banks in Europe and worldwide.Īcademics, professionals and other stakeholders are invited to submit papers for the Financial History Workshop.
